Guided Stable Motion

Guided Stable Motion gets benefits from yoga in easier ways. Think of it as borrowed from yoga and shaped for you.

I’ve watched lots of people do yoga. I see the difficulty get in the way. So I took yoga apart.

I will guide you in stable ways of moving. And teach you specific support that helps you better extend and engage. It feels good.

The pandemic has put me on my mat reflecting. What works? Why? What blocks people? What’s most needed? We sit too much. We look at a screen too much. We get tight.

I will show you and explain, but you learn by doing with guided feel for how you align and extend. These pages are a sample menu. We will use what works for you. These ways of moving reinforce each other.

While waiting for the kettle to boil…. Many of us get too little variety of motion; many of us move too little at all. 20 minutes going from one way of moving to another, working into an area and all over, is wonderful. But so is 2 minutes. I teach you ways of moving that also work in 2 minutes.

You can do this every day. Our lives practise us in ignoring ourselves. We change that together. You become more comfortable in a world that is not.
