Any is always better than none. 5 minutes of yoga is excellent.
I do yoga most days.
Keeping in mind what I want to avoid can work better. Instead of saying to myself that I will do yoga five days this week, I say:
- I don’t skip 2 days in a row
- I don’t skip more than 2 days in a week
Did I do yoga yesterday? No: then I’ll do it today. Did I already skip yoga this week? I won’t skip more.
Yoga works by repetition. Some today. Some tomorrow. Some the day after.
Doing a few minutes of yoga today will have more benefit than adding those minutes to a longer session tomorrow.
