Yoga can hurt you. If you keep doing it, it will hurt you. Noticing and avoiding injury is an essential part of practice. Skill and strength must come before flexibility.

Reading can improve practice. But we do not learn yoga by reading or watching. We learn by practice and instruction. (We follow along in groups for efficiency not efficacy.)

I do not expect you to become like me. I have been doing this a long time.
