What works. These are notes for myself, not instruction.

Chair

Stand

Stand close to the back of the chair, hands on

  • Stand + sway
  • One side thigh rotations, anchored with heel touching and then ball or toes
  • Heels up, shoulders down, toes soft, knees soft and out, pubic forward, torso up and firm !
  • Step forward
  • Turn out + heel up + step out
  • Ski + on ball or toes
  • Step back
  • Step beside, chair as anchor – bent + straight !
  • Push, sway
  • Push on one, open, sway
  • Wide + turn out + fold !
  • One Leg, rotate on the hip

Sit

a firm chair like a dining chair

  • Press with hands
  • Table + wide
  • Front bridge
  • Pelvis rock
  • Elbows on knees + cat cow
  • Child
  • Knees wide + forward fold, hands down + (over one knee + cross reach) + reach
  • Knee swing and drop front
  • Lunge
  • Warrior 1
  • Warrior 2

On 4

hands or elbows on the seat or arms of a chair

  • Elbows rotate
  • Pedal, knee bend, heel down + wide
  • Pyramid + front thigh rotate + rear turnout and bend !
  • Torso turn (triangle)
  • Crossover + on one leg
  • Lunge beside
  • Foot on
  • Wide + thigh rotate + turn out !
  • Lunge wide
  • Knee on, with padding, lunge
  • Pigeon
  • One leg raise and move

Stand

toes up soft, pubic forward, touch, sway, shoulders down

Feet

  • Arch lift
  • Soft toe lift
  • Thigh rotate to change foot roll

Knees

Soft, quads engage, knees caps stable, joint stable, thigh roatate

Pelvis

Sway and touch pubic, femoral triangle, tops of thighs, butt

Shoulders

  • Rolls, circles, & swings
  • Anchored hand to hip, arm, & waistband
  • Doorway

Stand

  • ready ankles and calves

Sit

Kneel

  • Lean Back – knees close & knees wide to extend hip flexors & adductors
